Meet Andrew
The story behind Acoustic Journeys.
Music has always been an important part of my life, but Acoustic Journeys was inspired by something even more meaningful.
Watching my mother volunteer with older adults showed me how much a familiar song, a caring conversation, and sharing time with someone can brighten a person's day. That experience encouraged me to carry that same spirit forward through music.
For the past couple of years, I've had the privilege of volunteering by playing guitar and singing for residents in local nursing homes. Those experiences grew into Acoustic Journeys, where my hope is to create one-on-one visits filled with comfort, connection, and familiar songs that bring back cherished memories.
